And, when you see it build up, you think to yourself “of course, that makes perfect sense.” Usually, the simpler, the more effective the effect actually is. Reminds me of a video I watched once when a guy made all these effects in photoshop through simply drawing them. When you look at it, it makes perfect sense. It always amazes me, as you look at tutorials like this step-by-step, that it is often a lot more simpler to do things than you originally think.
